Chief Executive Officer

Peter has more than 30 years of experience in the biopharmaceutical industry and a strong understanding of manufacturing and launching complex biologics. Before joining Adello, he was SVP of Biologics Manufacturing at Bristol-Myers Squibb, where he oversaw the development, production and worldwide launch of numerous significant biologics, including oncology products Yervoy and Opdivo. In addition to BMS, he also held leadership roles at BASF AG and Abbott Laboratories.

With over 20 years of experience in therapeutic protein and vaccine development, Mike brings with him a large breadth of knowledge in the space of complex biologics. Prior to joining Adello he held senior leadership positions in R&D at Medimmune, a subsidiary of AstraZeneca, and at Merck.

Dr. Niazi began his career in pharma at the University of Illinois, College of Pharmacy where he was a tenured professor before entering industry at Abbott Laboratories as Director of Technical Affairs in its international Division. Dr. Niazi is a prolific inventor with 50+ patents to his name and has additionally contributed to the industry by authoring an extensive amount of published work including numerous textbooks.

Cheryl has over 30 years of experience in the pharma industry with a background in both molecular research and intellectual property. Her experience ranges from working for a premier intellectual property law firm in D.C. to acting as the sole IP counsel for a start-up company. She also spent time as a patent examiner with the USPTO.
